Why do video and voice have courtesy minutes on the free plan?
Transcribing and processing video runs on our servers and is the most expensive thing we operate. Free includes a real courtesy (5 min of video and 10 of voice per file) and the paid plans cover the long work. The classics — merge, convert, compress — remain uncapped.
Are the classic tools really free forever?
Yes. Merge, split, convert, compress, image and Office have no cap and never expire. They cost nothing to run, so there's no reason to charge for them. Only AI and heavy work have a paid plan.
What counts as an “AI operation”?
Any time you use an AI feature: chatting with a PDF, summarising, analysing a contract, AI translation, the agent. Converting, merging or compressing do NOT use AI operations.
Why annual instead of monthly?
Annual is much cheaper and avoids needless fees and reminders. You can also start with the €9.99 quarterly if you'd rather try without a year's commitment.
